What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is an advanced dental treatment that allows us to straighten your teeth without the use of braces. The Invisalign system consists of a series of precisely calibrated clear aligners that gradually reposition teeth.
What will happen at my appointment?
To make sure the Invisalign system is right for you, we will begin the process with a thorough dental exam, and review your health history and treatment goals. Then we will take impressions of your teeth, a bite registration, photographs, x-rays, and send these materials to Invisalign together with a treatment plan.
How long before my teeth are straight?
Treatment time for Invisalign varies depending on your specific needs, but typically it takes nine to fifteen months to complete. You’ll wear each set of aligners 24 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. About every two weeks you will replace the aligners with the next in the series. You will visit us every six weeks so we can make sure your treatment is progressing as expected. Week by week your teeth gradually move into the right position.
What are the benefits of Invisalign?
